Google User Data
When a user connects their Google account to LoopChat, the application may request access to certain Google account data solely to provide the features requested and enabled by the user.
Gmail
When the Gmail integration is enabled, LoopChat may access Gmail messages and related message data to display email conversations within LoopChat, allow users to manage their email communications, reply to messages, and send emails through their connected Gmail account. LoopChat may also update message status, such as read/unread status and labels, when these features are used.
Gmail data is accessed only after the user provides authorization through Google’s OAuth consent screen and is used only to provide the requested email functionality.
Google Sheets
When the Google Sheets integration is used, LoopChat may access Google Sheets spreadsheets selected by the user to allow the user to import customer data from Google Sheets into LoopChat or export customer data from LoopChat to Google Sheets.
Import and export operations are explicitly initiated by the user. LoopChat does not independently access the user’s spreadsheets outside of these requested operations.
Use of Google User Data
LoopChat uses Google user data obtained through Google APIs only to provide, operate, and improve user-facing features requested by the user, including the Gmail and Google Sheets integrations.
LoopChat does not use Google user data for targeted advertising, does not sell Google user data, and does not use Google user data to create advertising profiles.
Sharing of Google User Data
LoopChat does not sell Google user data and does not share Google user data with data brokers or advertisers.
Google user data may be processed by trusted technical service providers acting on behalf of LoopChat, such as hosting and infrastructure providers, only to the extent necessary to provide, operate, maintain, or secure the features requested by the user.
LoopChat does not transfer Google user data to third parties for purposes unrelated to providing or improving the user-facing features requested by the user.
Protection of Google User Data
LoopChat applies appropriate technical and organizational safeguards to protect Google user data, including encryption in transit, access controls, credential protection, system monitoring, and restricting access to authorized systems and personnel only.
Retention and Deletion of Google User Data
LoopChat retains Google user data only for as long as necessary to provide the requested functionality or to comply with applicable legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.
Users may disconnect their Google account from LoopChat at any time. After the Google connection is disconnected and the authorization is revoked, LoopChat will no longer access the user’s Google data through that OAuth authorization.
Users may also request deletion of stored data associated with their account by contacting LoopChat using the contact information provided in this Privacy Policy.
Google Limited Use Compliance
LoopChat complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
LoopChat uses Google user data obtained through Google APIs only to provide or improve user-facing features requested by the user and does not use such data for purposes prohibited by Google’s policies.
LoopChat does not use Google Workspace user data obtained through Google APIs to train, develop, or improve general-purpose artificial intelligence models, and does not transfer such data to third-party AI services for the purpose of training their models.
